Cogito AI Appoints Chief Information Security Officer and North American Sales and Customer Operations Leaders

London, October 14, 2026. Cogito AI, the Enterprise AI Operating System company, today announced three senior appointments:

• Chris Pillans, Chief Information Security Officer
• Scott Sims, Vice President of Sales, North America
• Shruti Dubey, Vice President of Customer Operations, North America

The appointments follow the close of Cogito AI's oversubscribed seed round and its first commercial revenue earlier this year. They strengthen the company as it expands enterprise deployments in North America.

Chris Pillans, Chief Information Security Officer

Chris brings more than 30 years of experience building and leading information security and compliance functions at private-equity-backed and publicly listed companies, including Ladbrokes (now Entain), Aptos and Conga. He has led security, data protection, PCI DSS and regulatory compliance programs in heavily regulated sectors. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). At Cogito AI, Chris oversees the security and compliance program, including the company's SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 examinations.

Scott Sims, Vice President of Sales, North America

Scott brings more than two decades of technology sales leadership, with senior roles at IBM, Kyndryl and Compaq (now HP). He began his career as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey. At IBM and Kyndryl, he was recognized for leading teams that designed and implemented digital health solutions. He has worked extensively with technology partners across cloud, AI, SaaS, security and IT infrastructure. Scott is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School. At Cogito AI, he leads sales across North America.

Shruti Dubey, Vice President of Customer Operations, North America

Shruti brings more than 20 years of experience leading technology transformation across SaaS, healthcare and financial services, with leadership roles at Conga, Oracle Health (Cerner) and Sun Life Financial. At Conga, she built and scaled the enterprise program management office across IT, infrastructure, information security, DevOps and cloud operations. That work generated more than $6 million in savings and established responsible-AI governance frameworks. At Cogito AI, she leads customer deployment and operations across North America.
